Welcome to our Community Pub

This is an enterprise where any surpluses are used to support the local community.

The Fox and Hounds a well known pub in Market Place Shildon Co Durham DL4 2RF has been brought back to life. The Seymour Trust, a locally based not for profit company, has taken a 10 year lease from Trust Inns and reopened it as a "Community Pub is the Hub".

This site is to welcome our local community, Locomotion railway museum visitors and the many "Shildonians" who have roots in the town. We'll keep you up to date with what we are doing and what we are about, as well as allowing you, "The Community", the chance to feedback into the project with your own thoughts and ideas.

Come and enjoy the front room crack, hand pulled beers and log fires!
